It might seem like a humble invention but don’t be fooled. We share a few facts about printer’s ink and toner cartridges, giving insight as to why they can be considered one of the most amazing inventions of the last century.

A Staggering Number of Printer Cartridges Are Used Annually

More than a billion units of ink are used annually. Home users, retailers, education facilities, hospitals, and corporate users need to print daily.

Many Cartridges Are Thrown Away

As many as eight units are thrown away per second in the USA alone. It means many more units make their way to the landfills of the world daily. Remanufactured units come from the original manufacturer and have been recycled and refurbished or remanufactured. Refilled units have not been refurbished and no components have been replaced. The units are simply refilled with ink.
